A6 Gear hunting-- please help.
Guys,
Just came back from a trip and noticed my A6 Avant(2.8 tiptronic) is doing a lot of gear hunting. Very noticable hunting between 1700-2000rpm. Felt like its going back and forth between 3rd and 4th (or 4th and 5th?). Also, when I changed to tiptronic mode and manually shifted the gear and then nailed the gas pedal (from cruising), it felt a little hesitate for about one second but then fine afterwards. Just noticed all of these today. Any idea what might happen? Time for a new tranny? hope not..
