Hey folks-
We've just purchased our first Audi, an A6 avant. It'll be the family ride as we're expecting our first kid in a couple of months. Currently, my wife has been driving this:

(don't mind the ghetto-bra... we were moving cross country)
She's a little upset about losing the 5-speed, but we plan on lowering the avant and throwing a set of wheels on it.
It's a 99 2.8L, that looks pretty clean. We plan on fixing the passenger side mirror and polishing the headlights. The rear bumper is being painted before it's being shipped from NJ to AZ. Luckily, my family is handling the transaction, not the e-bay guy.
Here's a link to about a million pics:

What else? I owned 2 VW-ish companies back in NJ, Oldskool Industries and Rabbitparts.com, both were mailorder shops, Oldskool went on to open an actual install shop, too. Rabbitparts specializes in early watercooled parts and I gave it to my sister. I get my parts cheap thru her.
I have a 65 bug, an 81 rabbit pickup and an 02 CRG 125cc TAG kart.
I've been doing a lot of reading around here to learn more about these cars... an I realise that most people hate staggered wheels. My wife loves the look and I found a decent set of wheels with these dimensions: 18x8.5 35et, 18x9 30et... these sound like they'll do the job, right? This thing is just a 2.8L family cruiser, I've heard the arguements![Wink](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
We'll probably be running either a set of KW variant 1's or a set of Blistein shocks and H&R sports. I hear the KW's are a little stiff, but that may be moot coming out of a lowered NewBeetle.
That's about it. Hi.

Actually, No.
I think the seller took the pics in front of that house to make it look more expensive.
