A6 radio wiring.
Hey guys,
I have a 02 audi a6 quattro and im trying to install my aftermarket pioneer deh-23ub radio. I have the metra 70-1787 wiring harness but upon further inspection it seems someone has butchered my original harness and removed it ( i was given the vehicle used) so i was wondering if there was any way around this and if not where i could find an orignal harness that fits into the metra harness. I have one harness which i believe is the power harness, but the speaker harness is missing. Also it is a bose system.

I'm in the exact same boat as you I just picked up a '03 S6 with a craptastic 2003 Alpine Radio in it.... I pulled it hoping to put in my brand new radio I pulled from my S4 and no only do I have a butchered power plug, I am missing all other plugs INCLUDING the antenna!!! LOL I actually WANTED to use the factory amp but now I'm going to have to buy amp(s) and fab up a sub box and replace speakers etc.... so a simple head unit swap turned into a HUGE project and depending on what speakers etc I buy hundreds if not a thousand or more in $$ because I never go half assed LOL

Wolf Auto (very good father and son team here in MN that I have personally dealt with on several occasions) have several listed on Ebay for $20. Assuming you can find all the correct wires in the dash, this would be the quickest method for getting a radio wired in i think, a $20 harness, a bag of clip pinch connectors, and a roll of electric tape and you will be good as new. I will be doing this also! now I just need to figure out what they did with the antenna LOL I'm really hoping it is just tucked and I just missed it the other night.
