A6 suspension lift???

the front looks pretty easy just by cutting the strut just above the lower mount and fitting a piece of steel tube over the cut ends and welding back togather. rear I am thinking of machining out some aluminum tube to use as a space in between the bottom of the spring and the strut mount... 2 inches should not require much more than an alignment to get thing back in place. also want to lift my 88' 5000, that would be a fun car for taking off road with the locking diff's.
