AWD not avilable with the sports or aero package on the Infiniti. Indicates the company views it as a marketing sop for safety, rather than a sporty advantage.
In the end, so we see Nissan Skylines or Infiniti in established road racing or rally racing outside of Asia?
Pricing comparable to the new A6.

Audi is probably the only maker that can legitimately say it got into AWD as a performance....
.... boost. The early rally cars led to the street cars. Subaru did not think of AWD as sporty until the WRX (or maybe that weird sports coupe thing).
Another way to look at Audi AWD is a way to take a front wheel drive platform and fix it so that real car nuts will respect it.
