Default abs/brake light flashing... beeping... too much torque?

ever since ive put this apr chip in.. my abs/brake light flashes and beeps. i am due for rotors and pads on the front but i dont know if that will fix the problem. i cannot remember the code it throws but i remember it saying something about "too much torque...." its random when it comes on sometimes.. if its already on and i shift from 2nd to 3rd and its not a really smooth shift.. like the car will jerk.. it will beep at me again. what could be causing this? will replacing the rotors and pads help/fix this problem? 01/a6/2.7t 6speed. 110k. thanks.

rotors and pads will have no impact. I have no idea what the issue is, although an audi with too much torque seems suspect :-)

I suspect you are experiencing stability management or traction control ( same thing) kicking in and encountering some calibration error.

pads play no role in detecting wheelspin, torque etc.

When you get the solid abs light and flashing brake light, you should get a communications error to the abs module. If the module is broken.

The torque error and the chipping might be coincidental.
