Default ABS/ESP lights on

Yesterday, I was driving my 2004 A6 2.7T, when the ABS and ESP lights came on the dash. Shortly after, the brake pads worn light came on. I hooked up to VAG-COM and got the following codes:

Engine - 16955 - Brake Switch (F): Implausible Signal - P0571 - 35-00 --

Auto Trans - 17087 - Brake Switch B Circuit Malfunction - P0703 - 35-00 --

ABS/ESP - 00526 - Brake Light Switch-F - 27-10 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent

I'm going to replace the pads this weekend. Could the worn pads be causes those codes as well, should I go ahead and replace the brake light switch, or is it possibly something worse? Thanks.

ABS control module failure, very common.
