so my brake pad light was on for a alittle while on the dash and a few days ago my abs light would intermittly come on. Now all of a sudden the ABS is on all the time. I did change rotors and pads but ABS light still on ( I knew it wouldnt fix that problem) I have read about the wheel speed sensors and rebuilding the module. The brakes seem to work fine but I dont want to just go ordering parts. IS there a way to tell which it is and if its the abs module is it something I can do myself or do I have to send it away. Also where is the abs module and how the hell do you get those speed sensors out?

I have this exact problem. THe abs light came on and stays on all the time and then I got a Brake pad light. The pads are fine and the Code pull by Vag-COM was ABS Hydraulic Pump (V64) 16-00 Signal outside Specifications. The front rotors are badly worn and I have new ones and pads, but wanted to know what else I should look for when I am in there to correct the abs issue and pad light. Wiring? That would be my first thought since both came on for no reason.
