Default Achtuning 18" DTM RS4 - anyone had them actually ship you the wheels yet?

Been waiting since Monday for a shipping confirmation. Nothing yet. Order placed 10/2. Fun to watch $2000 in suspension, lighting, and tires sit in your garage because one vendor won't ship in a reasonable time frame.

ps I'm not a troll...just went from a NSX to my 00 A6 2.7. www.nsxprime.com and search on Lofwyr.

Default Do you need the wheels to install the suspension and lighting?

Then you you get the wheels, mount the tires and throw them on the car and enjoy! Sometimes waiting is part of the fun. I feel for you though!

Default Sounds like Dallas has the same situation.

He's been asking about his 18" DTM's as well.

Starting to feel good that I did not place an order with them as I was going to do the 19's.

They answer the phone and return calls rather promptly and had a lot to say on the phone.

Keep us posted, they have a good rep to date.

Good idea, but to save on labor costs and the hastle of not having my car for a day I'm going to have everything done at once. I just emailed them again (as I did at 9:30 am on Friday, no response) and will probably not hear back yet again.

I had heard good things as well...I've been very surprised at the lack of customer service. Took me 3 emails and 2 voice mails to get a "right away" answer on Tuesday. I waited till Friday and sent another email to Josh at 9am in the morning. No response. I just emailed them again hoping that perhaps I'll receive some sort of answer. Do you guys think wanting my $80 back for shipping is unreasonable? That's usually not my style, but this has really been an unsatisfactory experience.

Default They do read these forums and I bet they are aware.

I'd try and call a few times today and reach Josh. He seems on the up and up and from what I hear always works it out to the customers satisfaction.

Never good to hear the place that is commonly recommended and is even an advertiser to this site as being slow on the ball.

Keep us posted. I'm sure Dallas will do the same.

I have to wait for my OEM RS 6 wheels because todays a "Holiday" and I can not wire the cash to Germany. I hate to wait!

Default I had a similar experience when I bought my RS6 front end

It arrived over a month and a half late, to the wrong state, without all the parts. I still don't have all the parts and have just given up on them. They have become unresponsive.

have you asked for your shipping to be refunded? it's ludicrous to me to pay $80 for shipping that takes this long.
