Default My advice: Don't do it.

Two fog lights can appear to be brake lights and confuse other drivers.

Default 2nd... they are what they are for a well thought out reason - UNLESS...

you spend a great deal of time stopped on the shoulder, then it might be worth doing the dual strobe mod. for the sake of safety, but obviously those wouldn't be useful when under way (fog or otherwise). my suggestion is that you drink a bear and watch a simpsons rerun in the 1/2 that you would have spent on the mod ;~}. r.

Default Indeed.

I was driving in CT today and some idiot had a corrado (at least I think it was) with 2 bright white lights which appeared to be some sort of ghetto rear fog setup. It was really really annoying. The driver was camped in the left lane at 55mph so after a minute or so, I gave him the HIDs + fogs. That didn't do anything, so I hit the high beams. He moved over and I went by. Now I notice he's got 2 HUGE round fog lights in the front and he turns them on and tailgates me (within a couple of feet) until I got to my exit. I was going to report him, but I was in a hurry.

People can be such sh*theads sometimes.

Cheers,

Default STEP AWAY FROM THE TRUNK LID! :-)

I was thinking of it too, but someone posted about it being confused with a third brake light. Made sense on second thought.

Default Just say no to dual rear fogs. You don't need them anyway...

if you DO feel the need to do this, replace teh bulbs with 5 watt marker light bulbs, to save us all the headache of staring at your stupid fog lights all day/night.

Default I don't get it-why do you need 2 rear fogs? Is it to doubly annoy poeple as you drive around with

your rear fogs lit up on a perfectly clear weather night? What good reason can you give for needing TWO rear fogs - they're just not used that much.

Based on the posts here, it sounds like a good "brake check" light for tailgaters. Keep 'em back.

Why not just tap your brakes?
