Default after i replace my control arms, what needs to be preloaded?

I replaced the upper, lower, TRD, and sway bar links.

i preloaded the upper, sway bar links, and where the lower shock connects. do i need to preload for the lower control arms?

Default All of the bonded bushings need to be final torqued whith the car on it's wheels...

or any alternate method. I like to jack the suspension up.. I just put an article in teh tech section on replacing the suspension on a C5, it describes this a little.

Default I had mine on ramps, and still couldn't get full torque on the inboard lower control arm bolts.

I drove gingerly, directly to my alignment shop, and slipped my alignment guy some extra $ to really bear down on those, while it was up on the alignment rack. Much easier to do this, with the car 4'-5' in the air, than 12" high.

Just a tip, in case he's DIYing it.

Default I also forget that not everyone can apply the same kind of torque that I can ....

I also do it like this, so I have a LOT more than 12" of room to work.

Default I know of a dude with a really good website ; )) Look at the uppers since the correct

method isn't a classic "preloading" such at is on the lowers.

http://www.kris-hansen.com/Audi/upper_control_arms.htm

Default ALL of the rubber 'pivot' bushings. All 4 inner control arm bushings, the lower shock bushing...

The sway bar links. You do not need to do this with teh outer ball and socket bushings.

Default I hope you have some jackstands under there too

Up on a bottle jack, bottle jack on a block, applying torque = UNSAFE!
