A page back CBHnry asked for pics of A6's with aftermarket wheels. Well, pictureposter was down, so I (and probably others) couldn't post our pics.
Since aftermarket wheels seems to on topic again, lets all get together and post a bunch of pics to make those with the boring stock rims feel bad

Frankly, I don't think that's the best angle for my car, the rims look much better in real life. Here's another angle.
They still look better in real life.
These are Ronal RTs, 17x7.5" ET 35 with 235/45ZR17 Pirelli P Zero Rossos. The big wheel gap (which I don't mind but you might) above the wheels is because I have the stock suspension, not the sport one.

I don't mind the wheel gaps, also I can't tolerate losing 1.3" of clearance, so I won't be getting the "Audi Sport Springs" or Eibachs. I'd like the PSK setup (0.7" drop), and I'm looking into that.
I like the tires. I was basically forced into them by Ronal, and they are quite good. Not super quiet, but they have a decent ride (for a performance tire) and incredible grip. And they look good.
They do follow grooves in the road and are quite noisy at highway speeds on cement (although fine on asphalt). These are attributes of all ultra performance tires.
Sadly, these wheels aren't on my car right now because they are useless on snow, and I go to Tahoe from time to time.

I had 17x8 R7's on my S4 and would like to see how close they come to the front and rear fenders. I have PSK too on my Silver 2.7T.
I'd appreciate it if you had any closeups you could post or e-mail me.
BTW, how much extra did Gary@Ronal charge for that extra special Anthracite paint?
Finally, does the Anthracite paint hide brake dust :-) ?
Thanks,

it's not supper clean, but here are a couple. The color was $60/wheel (I think it's another $100 or so for brake dust immunity :-).
