Default airbag circuit diagram

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/100734/img_0004.jpg"></center><p>I used to be able to connect to the airbag and the airbag light was not on, now I cant connect and airbag light is now on perm.

I am thinking maybe its the power for the airbag controller, Have checked fuse 15, but thats about as far as I have got, reason being I cant find T3a/3 the black connector point right A piller, I have found a black connector but it doesn't have the right coloured wires going to it. should be according to the diagram Black, Green/Red, White/Yellow

my black connector has White, Yellow/Black, Red/Yellow, Brown/Green

so I dont believe its the right one. can anyone point me in the right direction?

Default Without VAG-COM you are wasting your time. Get VAG-COM, clear code, see what comes back.

If a code is lodged in the control unit, all the wiring diagrams in the world won't help the light go off.

yes, this is why i think its either the power +12 v connection to the controller,
the earth connection to the controller or the K (data) connection to the controller.

if i can establish there 3 things then I might get vag to work, then can establish if any of the sensors have gone..

the light only came on when i removed the passenger seat then started the car to move it.

I'd replace the controller. Wiring failures are the rarest of the rare.

Default LOL. I give up then.

I'd try a few things:
Disconnect the radio and see if you can connect.
Check the connector for bent pins.
Uplug all the aig bags and try to connect.

It's unfortunate that the cluster diagram doesn't show whether the indicator light looks for power or ground from the Air bag controller. If power it would be obvious that the unit has power.

Default I would double check the wiring to the passenger seat, it could be if a.....

bag fails the post then it could lock out the whole airbag circuit?
