Default Alignment @ PepBoys???

Has anyone here brought their Audi to PepBoys to do an alignment? I saw an Ad in the paper from them the other day where it's advertised at $59.99 + tax (Includes 4 wheels + 6 months/6K mile warranty). Supposedly they use computer measurements to help with alignment.

Anyone with any experience with them doing this service? Especially on a german car.

The computer is no better than the minimum wage wrench running it. DIY!

Default Really depends on the mechanic available to do it...

Before you go it see if you can get the attention of the mechanics near the alignment rack and ask them if they can do it. I used to work there part time and I had my A6 4.2 aligned there. I had to wait a day for a qualified tech to do it. Drives straight as an arrow for the past 2 yrs.

Default I took my F150 there... only beacause the brake lines broke on the street in front of it there.

I wasn't so happy. They guy did all of the lines, after he had asked if I just wanted the one side done....

Thats probably just my local store though.

That's nothing. Bernie did his own vasectomy with just a pair of kraft scissors and a hot glue gun.

Default I'm certain you will get $59.99 worth of alignment just like you get $20 worth of oil change at

Jiffy Lube. Big SKIP, IMO unless the mechanic there owns an Audi and it isn't a POS.
