Default Which all-season tires for 1999 Audi A6?

I need to get some new tires for my 1999 Audi A6.
Driving will be mostly highway and a bit of city, all typically on paved roads.
Looking for reasonable handling and smooth ride with good mileage.
The summer tires that were on the car were Dunlop SR Sport A2 - they were OK but the mileage one gets out of them is very poor.
During the winter I ran on Pirelli Wintersport which seem to be good; trouble is I had a really lousy experience ith Pirelli tires on my VW Cabriolet so I'm reluctant to go with that brand (the winter ones I used came with the Audi when I bought it).
Tire size is 205/55R16.
Doing a bit of research, the tires with the best user rating I have come across are ridgestone Fuzion HRi (NOT ZRi). Anyone have experience with those? They semed to be rated much better than all te competition in that size. All round rating of 4.9 out of 5. The closest competitor is at

Default No question, Falken Ziex-ZE512, GREAT tires!

High treadwear number, inexpensive, quiet, and they GRIP.

Default 2nd that. CR rated it #1 for UHP A/S tires.

That's why I bought it last yr. I recommend it, too.

Default 2nd^^^ I love my conti Extremes... on both my 16's and 18's!

The 16s took two track days and are more or less fine, in fact, I plan on tracking them again next weekend

And they still work well in wet and snow also.
