Default To all with this tiptronic thing...do you have this same continueing issue/fault?

For the most part I absolutely LOVE this transmission. I've reprogrammed it to 010032 (sport mode, no auto shift to 2nd, in tip mode it won't shift on its own even if you hit redline - for my autocrossing).

There is a defect or flaw in the programming it seems though. Most of the time it shift very, very smoothly and quickly but it seems that every two weeks or so go by and then it'll have terrible upshift. So jerky that I'm afraid something is wrong.

I then do the 60 second reset and all is back to normal. Works perfectly. I haven't ever thrown a transmission code and my vag-com can't access the AWD section of my computer so I can't scan that one for errors.

Is there maybe some way to turn off the adaptive programming in the transmission? I'm thinking that maybe thats the problem.

Why 010032 instead of 000032?

I didn't add the 1 there. I think the dealer did that.

Never noticed it on either of mine, unless you're starting to have TC issues.

I do a little auto-crossing in all my cars. Gives me an idea of what they can take.

Default I don't think a 2000 will take 00032. I changed our 99 to 00010...

...which seemed to improve the tip response time. You might try that.
