My driver side window goes up and down slower than the passenger side (by about 3-4 seconds) and actually all other windows I figured it was because this is the one that get used the most so none the less I brought it to the dealer and they checked it out and replaced the motor. Now it seems to work even a little bit slower so I brought it back again only this time to have the dealer tell me it is because of my tint! Has anyone else noticed or heard of this or is the dealer just trying to get out of trying to fix it? All other windows seem ok. All input would be great. (I have standard metal tint, professionaly installed)

caused the problem. Secondly, if you go to their showroom you might find a brand new car they had tint put on to impress a possible buyer. You then stick that in their face. Then do they have any used cars with tint that they're selling. Are they fully disclosing this so called tint problem?
All in all, it's a jerk job they're giving you to make it easy on themselves. Actually if the window is used more the tint if rubbing would most likely ware off and the window would move easier. That's my theory any way. Yes, I have tint.

If you don't see a car with tint on the lot go ask sales if you can buy a new one with tint installed.
The service dept is just being lazy.

but, right after I had the tint installed some mysterious black goo appeared on the back edge of the inside of driver's window. Seemed to me it was obviously rubbing against something inside the door. I was able to clean most of it off, but some of it still remains. Window speed is normal, though.

It wouldn't make me happy to be with that service advisor/technician if they're trying to pull that bull$hit on you. They're absolutely incorrect (and likely know it) - call them on it!

There ought to be a special place in Hell for technicians who are either: (i) so stupid as to believe this to be an accurate diagnosis, or (ii) so disrespectful as to feel they can foist such BS onto a customer.
