Tinted and I have never experienced that problem.

BS. Sounds like it is a window regulator. Have 50% all the way around no probs.

I bought a 98 2.4 A6 in OZ. From day one had the window prob. Very simple fix, faulty window guides & seals. Email me @ ajains@hotmail.com for the part nos. Car was not tinted at that stage, but got it tinted now, after realising that it is the guides and the plastic! support arms under the glass.
