What engine? It may not be as big a deal as you think. Find a reputable indy shop and give them a call. A simple compression test will tell the story.

I have NJ places listed here. Not sure how close you are to any of them, but might be worth a call to see what a ' head replacement' will cost you. You can usually get the heads off eBay for reasonable money. Probably 300 each or so

Replace valves, not heads.
Unless a valve head snaps off and pounds the crap out of the head, there is no need to replace.
Further, get a belt back on there first and do a leak down test. Sometimes you get lucky and the damage is confined to one side.
Diagnose first, then fix.

I agree with 4driver4. Get it tested to see what all the damage is before you go buying new heads.
Taking the heads off is not a simple procedure compared to a leak down test. Do the simple stuff first.
