Has anyone ever seen or have the aluminum trim option in an Audi? I am interested in it but have never ever seen one with it in my life. And if someone does have one and happens to have a camera handy....

I don't believe the option exists on the A6, at least not in the US. There is no RPO code for it, and if there is no RPO code, there is no way to order it, and thus to way to get it.

It probably exists in Europe, either because they have so many more options than us, or because they have some more downscale models than we have.

hmm...that's strange. all the brochures from 98-00 have aluminum trim listed as an option. oh well...

In Germany (and most of Europe), aluminum trim on the instrument panel, centre console and door cappings is standard on all A6 models except the 4.2 quattro and S6 variants. The pattern of the trim and the colour of the aluminum is different for the three trim levels. (Advance, Ambition, Ambiente)
