Another Audi crash in the Murph's household by no. 2 son

Perhaps harsh to some, but effective - I'd drop him from your insurance
I had to buy, maintain and insure my own car under my own policy. This is a bit harsh IMO, but very effective. I would alter this slightly for my kids (if I have any) to allow them under my policy until they have an accident.
Once they've had an accident, they're dropped from my policy and have to get their own. After seeing how it will take 100% of their take home pay from the local sandwich shop to pay for it, I imagine they would smarten up quite a bit. And if they can't afford insurance, then no driving. Any complaints would be met with the term "Welcome to the real world. Reality bites."
As you can tell, I don't have much tolerance for irresponsibility.

He actually drives slow and deliberate. If he was a wild man behind the wheel I bust him in second
He's actually just a bad driver. No sense of situation processing.
