so I was in the area of my local Audi dealership, which I have my deposit for the A8L at & I stopped by late afternoon. bumped into my sales guy & inquired about the car & he mentioned that it should be 'in the water' on its way here.

as a porsche dealership also, i informed him that i had been offered a great deal on a C4S lease & told him that i'd be up in the air on the A8L vs. C4S until the A8L arrives. he was cool about it & offered up a test drive in the C4S in the near future. great...

so i asked him how he was doing, 'cause he had gotten into an accident right b4 the last time i'd talked to him. turns out he had fell asleep at the wheel of an A4 & 'ran into the wall at 75mph.' those were his words & honestly, i'm surprised he made out ok...just some minor injuries & soreness. he said he had been at the Audi training sessions out in Ontario, CA & had been lacking sleep... therefore the accident.

anyhow, just thought i'd share another Audi accident survival story w/ ya.

BTW. They had 2 black C4S & a blue C4S sitting in the backlot... droooooool.

The C4S looks better by the day,

yeah... i love that color... but silver looks flashier... it'd be a toss-up.

yellow is too flashy & u can double as a taxi if you put on a sign on the roof.

midnite blue is nice too.

just gotta see it in person on the turbo style wheels and the huge x-drilled brakes underneath complete with red calipers...

to die for.

it's an '02-03 A4 1.8T btw... guess they have a fleet of A4's for the sales pplz.
