Default another door lock querie

I noticed that when I lock all my doors using the key fob and then anytime after that that somebody goes and tries one of the door handles whilst its locked, that door then remains locked and unusable even when the others have all been opened again. is this a security feature or a fault?
The door eventually goes back to normal and unlocks its self after about half an hour. it can be a pain though, iv often had to cheoffer my friends about in the back because they tried the front passanger door before id unlocked it. then after half an hour, without any warning or sound the door magically works again.

anybody else have this?

Default You know that you have to press the unlock button twice to unlock the rest of the doors, right???

That is...unless you have had the VAG COM coding changed for one-button unlock all doors.

Default Re:

Yeah i do know that thanks lol. I was just wondering if its a built in security thing, maybe so that if a theif tries the door handle, and its locked, he then breaks the window to get in,he cant then open the door by sticking his hand in to open it using the inside handle.
it only happens when the car is fully locked up, and a door is tried, when i fully unlock all the doors, the door that was tried and only that door remains locked for a while.

Default If you are talking about getting out, they can always unlock from the inside, you must pull

the handle twice. Wouldn't look to good for audi to trap people in the car.
