That is a reason I was actually thinking of the Dahlback one, as the shop in NJ I was looking at
deals with them. If I go GIAC or others, I am not sure what is around locally. People on the board (for the most part) have given a big thumbs up to KMD Tuning... but it would be my first experiance with an Audi tuner. I used RPM in NY State in a few previous cars.

Yes, my tuner strongly suggested doing tip chip along with the ECU. I trust his judgement
The Dahlback does in fact limit the torque to 309ft lbs for the tip version of the ECU. They also don't just push the snot out of the boost for HP but also manage the other parameters well according to all my research and I did a lot it. The bottom line is to use someone you can trust and feel confident in. Having someone very local to me is good as well. He specializes in German cars and has a great reputation.

I'll order the TBB tonight. I'll stay w/ the Dahlback dump valves as part of the package
Plus the tuner will stand behind anything I buy through him and he installs. The TBB just needs to be here in NH by July 13 my car goes in on July 16.

Good considerations! That is how I ended up with Revo, but they do not have the tip chip yet...
plus I had my REVO done for free and it is with SPS-3 and software for manual control as well. Too bad they do not havea tip chip. I wanted to get the GIAC tip chip but they put it on hold because they have had some problems with the socket. I looked for other companies but I could not find anybody else. Do you know where to get just Dahlback tip chip and whether is compatible with other ECU chips??

I've had the Engine ECU and Tip Chip for some time now. All works well. The Tip Chip took time to receive tho as some 2.7t's are a bit different, hence they require some customization to the software by DB. So be patient. Lot's of HP's.

Re: Amesbury, MA. There's a great German car tuner there that I trust.
Are you using Damon at German AutoSport? You will have to let me know how the service and the upgrade goes as I'm thinking about the same thing and take my car to Damon at German Autosport...
