If you look into getting a used one make sure to get the serial number before buying to verify with Valentine that it is not stolen or a fake.
Otherwise you wont be able to buy accessories, upgrades or support.

From Valentine themselves, if you call and ask if they have any of the 30 day returns available.
I have bought two of them that way in the past two years, same price - $359 and both units have been perfect with full warranty... a lot of people buy and compare or use for one trip and return...
Valentine also includes all new accessories, so it's not like you're buying used equipment...

...Now now, rule #1 as a shopper on eBay "Know your Seller"
If smart shoppers managed a shread of homework they can simply avoid the stolen Xenons from the user account that was created a minute before the listing and has 2 feedback from the same person. You know what I mean......
Deals like Carbon Fiber Interior kits at %33 of retail, or, OEM RS 6 wheels unused at %50 off retail might pass someone by if they thought eBay was totally eBAD......
Thats all I'll say (for now).
When in doubt, rule #1....

I've bought 6 computers, FRS radios, a motorcycle and a number of other items on eBay.
I am hesitant of getting screwed out of 1K so I usually buy things under that amount. I have never been screwed over on eBay by following CLs rule #1.
REsearch your seller and the product being sold. Search online for the best deal and see how much better you can really get it for on eBay.
Obviously with Valentine, not much research is needed about buying online, just researching the used one for sale.
