Any suggestions for boning up on a little Audi history?
I know the general story of the four companies and Auto Union, but thought I'd delve a little deeper. Is "A History of Progress" a good starting point? Worth the investment as sold on the Audi site? Would like a mix of both road cars and racing.

Is that the hardcover book? That's the best place to look
Your stealership should have a copy lying around somewhere in the showroom or service dept.
Ask to borrow or just go during lunch and bone up, as you say.

Yes, mostly white hardcover, appears to be written internally by Audi AG
Can't tell too much from the Audi web site but its priced pretty reasonably from Amazon, only about $20. I'll give it a shot.
Now that you mention it, I think I did see it at the dealership but I think it was in a showcase (ie. for sale).

Paul Harris, the editor of Audi Driver (UK) has just released a book (more)
entitled "AUDI" which covers the history of Audi, individual models and motorsport history.
