Default Any suggestions on where I could get a used torque converter ?

For an FAQ transmission
I've searched the wreckers and no one seems to want to separate a TC from a tranny

Given the PITA factor of installing it, why bother with a used part?

Default If you're going to have it upgraded, why not just pull yours and send it to L10,IMP...

(importperformancetrans,) etc.? Seems like you have plenty of other vehicles to drive at the moment, if you do pull the trans on the A6...

Default I may have a line on one. Where do you get the part # from? Vag?

I will check and see if it is an FAQ or not.

How soon do you need it?

Default I can have it tweaked within 8hrs by local ZF-Sachs guy. But it's still not an option

I want a spare at a different stall speed.

Where are you located? What stall speed are you going to?

Default You didn't include mine (ECF) Or were you just listing V6 trans's? BTW, does the timing belt...

tensioner take up for the difference created by comp-lowering gaskets? Or am I completly off? Anyways, is there anything special to consider if I decide to do those? TIA
