Default Any thoughts on the P-Zero Neros?

I'm looking at running the summer tires on my 4.2 w/18" OEM 9-spokes.

Default If there's a better tire ... I haven't found it!

Performance is excellent ... for any tire
Noise is even better
Comfort is better yet

this tire is sick good - just go buy it and be happy OOOOH AND it's non-directional, meaning you can rotate like a normal car and not worry about the insides or outsides wearing unevenly

Default I had been using S03s now Pilot PS2s get the PS2

Check on Tire Rack for the ratings, the Pilot PS2 is the highest rated street tire. These are not the same as the older Pilot Sport tires, these are a new tire, Y rated (the highest speed rating there is) and have the best performance of any tire I have used. The PS2 is also quieter and wears much better than the S03. THe P-Zero is a fine tire, just not as good as the S03 or PS2 but more like a Dunlop SP sport 9000.

By the way you will not get any performance improvement from the K&N filter. You could get some reduction in unsprung weight with some lighter brakes (like Brembo or Stoptech, aluminum calipers and two piece rotors) or lighter wheels (SSR or BBS RC, etc.). I don't recommend coilovers due to the cost and no real benefit unless you plan on constant adjustments to your suspension. You would probably be much happier with new springs. By the way the Audi comes with coilovers, they're just not adjustable for height.

Ditto. They're quiet, comfortable, and handle well.

Default 15k So far with much more tread to go, quiet and...

handle great too. Great compromise if you dont want to burn thru tires every 20K, and yes I bought the all season version 235/45/17

Much better than Dunlop SP sport 9000 or Pilot Sports (1).
