I am wondering if and where you teathered the seat to. I would rather teather it to the front of the car than the rear deck as I have heard that is better.
Thanks,
Chris

Tethering a rear-facing seat to the anchors behind the seat won't accomplish much at all. I anchored my Britax Roundabout (installed on the passenger side of back seat; couldn't get a decent fit in the center of my 4.2) to the front seat rail (you can hook the anchor clip onto the seat rail).
This is *not* as good as having a permanent anchor for the tether (like my MB has) but is better than nothing. Note, that wherever you anchor the tether to it should be a *stationary* point on the car (i.e., don't anchor the tether to the seat itself as the tension in the tether will vary when the seat position is adjusted)

Yeah, this is what I have tried, but I must not have it tight enough, as it has slipped off a few times.
Thanks for letting me know I was not missing anything obvious.
