Any of you guys have experience with Giac tip chip and ECU chip from another vendor (like APR)?...

Is there any advantage in pairing the ECU and tip chip from Giac? I am looking to get a chipped ECU for my 01 2.7T and add a transmission chip later on.

There is no realationship between the two, that I'm aware of. I say, knock yourself out and

get whatever brand you want. Pairing then together is unnessasary IMO.
