Got a paper Bentley today but I'm sending it back. Will probably get the DVD.
Just bought a 2002 A6 with the 3.0 and it's leaking from the adjusters on the cam sprockets. Geting ready to do the timing belt service but trying to get an idea of how to resolve these leaks. Also getting cam adjuster/sensor codes which I'm thinking could be related.

Was able to track this down finally. Didn't see the TSB but found out if you don't replace the plastic cam bolt caps they will leak like crazy.
Just did the t-belt service. Replaced the plastic caps and no more leaks. The 3.0 has hydraulic adjusters in the pulleys. Once the caps are pryed out to loosen the cam pulley bolts they will not seal again. Tryed a set of new o-rings just to check and it made no difference at all. Installed new caps with when I did the timing belt and now the pulleys are dry as a bone.
Part number for the new caps (covers) is 06C109144 $1.98 at genuineaudiparts.com. Hope this helps sombody out in the future. Don't do the timing belt without replacing these caps!
