Was interested in chipping, but the 3-400 for the tip chip is a lot to do at once

how many miles have you had the chip for??? and I dont wanna do tip and ecu seperately because....
tip chip is $400 alone, and $300 when you buy it with an ecu chip, id feel like it'd be a waste of $100

I was actually interested in revo, which flashes, doesn't chip. few Q's about this option...
1) I know it isn't a hard chip, so what do they do, just reprogram my current ECU?
2) Would I be able to resell the software on my ECU if I was to sell the car or something, like a lot of people do with their chipped ECU's?
3) Would there be a difference between the flashed ECU and a chipped ECU when bringing it into the dealer? I know if I had a chipped ECU, I could switch it with the stock one and clear the codes with vag-com before dealer visits to keep them from harrassing me (my dealer tried to screw me over from a cup holder problem, don't have much faith in them). Could I do anythign similar with a flashed ECU to avoid the problem??
If there's anything else I should know, please feel free to tell me (I know I'd need 710N's and a new TBB already). Thanks

Since this post was old, O.CT has a nice ECU chip too. Call Stratmoshpere for that one.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/170969.phtml">click</a></li></ul>
