Cool, gonna bid on one and cross my fingers. =)
hopefully no1 outbids me, there are sooo many, just go on to the next one. i just purchased an 80gb ipod for $300 for this, hopefully the cradle will hold it. =)

great idea, maybe someone in NYC (Brooklyn) could lend me some radio keys too. =)
you get to see my sexy white audi, led tails, chrome grill, soon to have c6 fog light trim (hehe) and also when I figure out how to do my eyelids,you can drool over them, but you'll have to get me a car wash then.

How does it connect to the headunit? Can you wire it into the armrest?

Yes, that's the item we're talking about on eBay.
Attaches to head unit by disconnecting the CD Changer cable and inserting this interface into that cable.
The kit comes with the docking cradle. You could probably figure out a way of putting that into your armrest but you might be better off seeing if you can get the docking cable (no cradle) instead.

Nothing in life is ever "Universal." This holds all iPods with a docking port...
...up to the Nano. You can make the Nano work by contacting Denison EU and getting an adapter they have (should be cheap -- just a piece of plastic). Not sure about the latest crop of iPods (5G and new Nano) but I think the 5Gs should be workable in some way. Only thing that might be tricky is the change they made from rounded front bezel to squared off.
