Default anyone else's brakes seem alittle light?

My car has been like this since I got it, but now i've thought i'd ask to see if it's normal. It seems like i have to push my brake pedal down almost 1/2 way to start really braking, it does brake good but it's not the same as in other cars. I always assumed that the brake pedal was much deeper than other cars to help with regulating braking at higher speeds?
Do i need to bleed the brakes, or is that normal. Brake pads are still about 3/4.

Default havn't checked in a while.

but even when all my pads and rotors were put in last year the braking still felt the same.

the only thing I can think of is low pressure, or some air in the brake lines ...or that's just the way the brakes are.

If you are concerned, flush the system with new fluid.

Default fyi, the stock "pagid" pads are teh suck, replace them with a grippier composition

and the dust created rivals the Gobi Desert.

Default You can't tell if you have air in your brake lines by looking at the color of the fluid. IF you

have a concern, bleed the brakes. It's easy, it's fast, it's very inexpensive, and it just may make the difference between having an accident and stopping in time.
