I need the correct part numbers for the Exhaust manifold flange to exhaust pipe studs and nuts. I ordered some from ECS Tuning but now I am doubting they are correct as their part number describes them as exhaust manifold studs (to block).
This is a 2001 A6 with a 2.8. Any help greatly appreciated.
Worst case: Since two of the studs came out (unscrewed) when the tech took the motor out of the donor car, couldn't I use standard bolts of the correct dimensions rather than a stud and nut?

I used ETKA to look up the studs you needed and linked you to the correct part number.
There's a good chance that the manifold studs are the same as the where it connects at the flange.

I appreciate your help. When I called the dealer he would not tell me the correct part number unless I brought the car in, but said those were not correct. Now, this dealer is a pita to deal with and may be lying.
I was trying to get them today as my order on the website got delayed as the inventory system was incorrect and wont be here till Monday. I really do not want to go out to the wrecking yard to find a passat to take them off of but I may. I really want this car back together

ETKA 7 gives the following:
* Stud: M8 X 30, P/N N-044-411-5
* Nut: Depending on VIN, P/Ns 078-253-466-A or N-902-264-03 (latter is self locking)
