Anyone ever have a headlight assembly break

I noticed that one of my headlights on my A6 was aiming low. I went to try to adjust it and noticed that the adjustments seem to have broken. Has this happened to anyone else, or does anyone know the cost of replacing the unit.

yep both of mine are and i cant afford to replace

im thinking of taping maglites to my hood

fixed

took apart headlight .. ball joints that hold the adjustment arm to sliver reflector unsnapped .. just snapped them back and now my headlights dont point straight down..
