some Tip anti-perspirant. The seals can seep (leak a very small amount - or some call that weeping), but the tranny never sweats. And if the breather vent is leaking fluid, then you may have significant other issues. The tranny is sealed from the factory - there should be a fill plug that is recessed and takes a 17mm hex wrench (big sucka) and also a drain plug that takes like a 10mm hex.
If you are leaking any significant amount of fluid, you need to have it taken care of as these trannys are very sensitive to being underfilled or overfilled - but underfilled is definitely worse and the ONLY way to check is to remove the 17mm fill plug! If they didn't take this plug out and check the level while monitoring the fluid temperature, they are lying to you.
