Anyone figured out an alternative to the BIG FAT Audi key fob?
I know it sounds silly, but one of the major things that bothers me about Audi/VW products is the HUGE key fobs they come with! If you are a guy, you get lots of "is that a pistol in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?" questions and looks. Not to mention that they are heavy. Women get to put them in their purses, but what's a guy to do?
Is there a way to take a spare key (without the fob) and maybe get a smaller remote or something to attach to it on a ring or something? I don't know why every other car I've had seems to pack the remote functions, etc. into a much smaller fob.

Yeah, I like the fob too but it is a little big...
It would make a huge difference if they could slim it down a bit and decrease the length slightly. A small size change would make a big difference.

NO DON'T, our X5 is in the shop today because it thought I was trying to steal it last night...
didn't recognize its own key! Loaner M-B C Class...I wish my A6 had as much torsional rigidity!
