Anyone have the EBC Ultimax Rotors on their car? I am so sick of shopping for brakes right now...

off (so they say), but it is strange to see 100% of the rotor coated in black. They seem very heavy duty, so by appearance at least equal to OEM or better; we'll find out. I didn't really feel like I needed the dimples and slots and for the $, I thought I would try the Ultimax. Some people have not been happy with the EBC pads, but other than higher than stock dust (my factory pads were Jurid) the GreenStuffs have performed well. I was on the fence between the Green and Red about a year ago, and went with the Green not wanting to make too radical of a jump, but the reality is the Greens are = to or maybe slightly higher performing than stock. Based upon some feedback on the B5 S4 forum, I think I will like the Reds just fine. Also, I liked the black color over the gold anodized color of the higher priced EBC rotors. I was after improved performance without looking like I was trying to be boy racer. I didn't think I would get the benefit from something like a DBA rotor, but wanted something other than say a factory equivalent Zimmerman, and I definitely didn't want drilled. IIRC, it was just shy of $500 for rotors and pads all around.
Wish I had some performance feedback for you.
