Default They will not match up, since the 2000 bumper, the black plastic part...

is not a seperate piece, where it is a seperate piece on the 2002+ bumper. The Parktronic sensors themselves, however, should be the same, and can be mounted on either the 2001 and ealier bumper, or on the 2002+ bumper.

so what your saying is that where they're currently mounted on the 2000, I;ll have to remove them from their current mounting and the new 2002 bumper will have it's own mounting system and I can mount them there?

Default Yes, but make sure that you get the right insert for the 2002 bumper...

Audi makes one insert for the parktronic, and one insert for cars without the parktronic.

Yes, the sensors are separate from the valence. Remove from old and move to new.

have you done this before? I would just really like to hear from someone who has done it before shelling out $1,000 + and finding out it doesn't work.

...the guy at the local audi dealer was telling me I might have to drill holes in the 2002 bumper where the sensors are...I don't think he knew what he was talking about...but I thought I should just make sure I'm certain on what I'm doing before buying the new bumper.
