Anyone have problems with possesed sunroof syndrome?

It was a nice morning here in NJ today so I decided to let in a little fresh air by pushing the back of the control switch to crack open the rear end of sunroof window. The A6 apparently had other ideas as it proceeded to fully open it's hatch to let as much sun in as it could. No matter what I did with the control ****, the window danced around from 1/2 open to full open and refused to go back to its proper closed postion. Luckily the engineers at Audi must have anticipated these bouts of possesed sunroof syndromes and included a crank to manually closed the hatch in case of insubordination.
My question is: Has anyone ever had this problem before? If so, did replacing the control switch resolve the problem?

I've had mine wig out doing 90 on the highway when it was really windy and trying to close it. I think the pinch protector was kicking in because of the air pressure. But it kept opening back up when i was trying to close it.
