if so, just curious if you've passed emissions with them? i had a P0421 code for a while, so i had all four o2 sensors replaced as a couple were bad. my indie said there was a reflash to increase the warm up time, and if the CEL comes on again that may need to be done, so a couple days after the o2 install, the cel came on again. contacted dealer about it and they said reflash would overwrite any electronic tuning i've had done, (sent APR my ecu few years ago) and would cost $220. i asked apr if this was true, and they said since i sent them my ecu, i have a hard chip installed so the dealer wouldn't be able to reflash the update, if they tried, they'd probably get a cel for an incomplete reflash. so now my question is how do i get rid of the CEL - replace the cat - as i've heard might be the fix for that code? if that is the solution, and since oem cats are fairly expensive, i thought maybe i would install piggies and a new catback exhaust (was thinking Billy Boat), if i do this, will i pass emissions in CT? my cats are over 8 years old, so i'm past the warranty on them (if they are indeed bad) and i've heard varying opinions on universal cats, so it seems doing piggies would be an economical way of fixing it - only if it passes emissions of course.....anyone out there with experience?

I did Vast piggies and my emissions went thru fine. Vast relocates o2 sensors, front ones stay where they are now, back ones go after main cats. This way they all get different reading and the whole set up looks 100% legit.
This is also a very economical option unless you can gut them yourself and do some welding of course.
