Anyone know about the location for the sensors for the Xenons..
Having trouble with my Xenons (again, well actually about the third time) pointing down to the ground. Ever since I got rear-ended last week. I remember someone stating earlier that there were sensors in the rear to adjust the aim if you have weight in the trunk. Anyone with a bentley or knowledge of where these sensors might be?

there are 2 height adjusting sensors... one on the front driver side
lower control arm and one on the rear driver side lower control arm. It's a plastic type hinged lever...
if you want to re-align your xenons.. find someone with a VAGCOM and have them force align it with that.

Is there a way through the Vag-Com to fix the position?
Meaning they would no long have as much range of travel to adjust up and down. This way even if the sensor is sending a faulty signal the lights would not travel up and down.

You can disconnect the auto-level motor on the headlight.
Its located on the inner (towards the center of the car on each headlamp) portion of the assembly and can be exposed by removing the rear cover. You can cut the wires and prevent power from being sent, though I wouldn't know if this would generate a code ( i doubt it ).

Would that lock it in the up or down position?
Any idea what the at rest position is? That should be where it would remain if the power was cut.
