anyone know how to black out the chrome trim around the windows?

Seriously though, I've been trying to think up of a temporary (ie: not painting it) way of doing this.

I may tape over it and take a few pics just so I can get an idea of what it looks like.

Hmmmm, maybe you could buy the RS6 black trim once it's released - ask Achtuning about it.

Default I bet Eastwood has a kit to turn chrome black

It just sounds like something they would offer.

Or you could go to a local chromeplating shop and see if it's possible to do black chrome.

I've been considering this if I go with a Passat because that VW logo in the grille is Escalade-sized.<ul><li><a href="http://www.eastwoodco.com">Not Clint</a></li></ul>

I think some guys on the old A6 board did the tape. Seems like it all went OK. I think it looks good

Nothing looks worse than chipped or faded paint on chrome.
