anyone know where the P/N is on a 2.8 Throttle Body ('99 Tip)? Is it viewable? FAQ to remove?

Default anyone know where the P/N is on a 2.8 Throttle Body ('99 Tip)? Is it viewable? FAQ to remove?
going to be ordering one for my neighbor's A6 and want to get the P/N first (which Shokan also asked for) to be sure I get the right part.

I'm hoping just to look into the engine bay and be able to see it, but I recall it cluttered around the back of the engine. Anyone have a photo showing the location?

Default The TB is on the back of the intake manifold.. Not easy to get to...
Have you unplugged it, cleaned it, etc? Check this out.. Why I haven't converted this to tech is beyond me..

Default You know that there was a recall on some of those in cold climates, right?
Might want to have Audi check if it's eligible before you buy anything.

Default Yeah, a little.. I think there are coolant lines to it, and a few harness connectors..
I haven't had the 'pleasure' of pulling a TB out of a V6 yet..

Day off from work/school. I should have the right tools here, and the car has been really slow in the cold.
