Anyone modified an RS6 exhaust for quieter sound?

I just installed an RS6 "sport" exhaust and it's a bit loud for my taste. Anyone changed out the mid-pipes or something to quiet it down a bit?

get a regular RS6 exhaust, it won't be as loud.

Such a PITA to deal with though (one piece construction and all)

It would have to be cut, shipped and then the appropriate adapters to put it back together would need to be sourced. I take it yours was a local deal ming?

Plus JCAUDI just went through a lot to get the exhaust he has shipped and installed.

I might have a lead on a regular RS 6 exhaust, but it would be such a PITA to deal with...

...I can give up the info JC, if you want it, just email me (again). Its the same source I gained your current enhanced sound exhaust from although they might not want to be bothered with anything outside a local deal, but we'll see......
