Default 18's are better IMHO - less chance of bending, and best to call Josh at Achtuning

for more info

Default Gotta disagree with mr. dallas...19s are best...no risk of bending...

especially in places that are reasonably smooth...outside of major cities.

No fear whatsoever about bending.

No, Achtuning does not have the OEM, but they may have some that fit the allroad without spacers. I can't vouch for the quality of the Achtuning version...but they look identical.

19s look better, ride great without harshness...but wouldn't be great for snows.

Default Tires cost too much. In person, not much visual difference VS 18's IMO.

Its the suspension height which makes more of a noticable difference IMO.

Default #1 agree...$$$ sucks...#2 disagree...the 19s are significantly bolder...

and even more so in person than in pics...

I am preparing myself for the tire replacement in the next few months...it sucks...but really it's only $100-200 more for a whole set than the same tires in 18s...both are very expensive.

Default Maybe I'm a little "old school" but to me some 19"s look cartoon-ey.

It depends on the wheel, but some look like wagon wheels when they get that big. A6 is a bulky car that can handle big wheels.
