API Extended Warranty Bankrupt
Anyone else who purchased a API (Automotive Professionals Inc.)extended warranty receive a bankruptcy notice? I purchased this 6 year warranty from Legend Audi 5-1/2 years ago on my 2000 A6 Avant and have used it several times with some sucess. Company was supposed to be backed by Travelers Insurance Co.
What does one do now with 6 months left? Anyone know of a good extended warranty company? I STFA and everyone says good and bad about all of the companies.

I didn't pay. It was part of a negotiated warranty extension on a new car purchase.
No line item.
But extended period noted on sales contract.
Seems they have a problem.
