Default April 2002 Consumer Reports, passat more reliable?
Why does the April 2002 CR consider Passat above average in reliability and the Audis, such as A6, below average in reliability? Don't the guts of the cars have similar components, and if anything shouldn't the Audi's be more reliable? What gives?

More than similar - nearly identical. No basis for any difference between A4 and Passat.

Default A. They might be considered in two different groups. B. Audi owners complain more.

If that's the case, why no fuel-sender recall on the Passat????
