Default ATTN: Narrow body owners - So I got a chance to come across a good deal on 19 x 8.5 wheels, but...

the offset is only 18. Anyone out there running this sort of set-up? will it stick out past the fenders? how much? please post pick if you got em.

Default I think when I ran 8" wide wheels with ET35 offset on the 2.7T, they were pretty flush...

...with the fenders, so I would imagine that a wider wheel with a more aggressive offset will be even further out, and be beyond the lip of the fender.

18x8.5 ET32 and not much space left. I'd say with ET18 you're going to have problems.

Default With an offset of 18, you are going to have suspension issues,

especially since the wheel is a 19".

SKIP!

Tires are 235/45...

Default I already need new CA's (they've never been replaced.) And considering how

little I drive my car, it's gonna take awhile before I start to have problems. It's been 2 years since I lowered my car, and I still haven't had an alignment done. All four tires still look great.

Default I bought my car March of '06 with 114k on the clock. It's currently at 134k.

And 5k of that was done in the first few months after I bought it.
